About
Justine Longmore is a Creative Arts graduate who spent the majority of her career working in events. In 2020, the restrictions of covid forced a re-think and she began to explore the possibility of returning to her artistic roots.
As a child, she had always been fascinated by wildlife and that was petty much all she drew. This interest deepened into a passion for conservation which never left, even though her actual career path resulted in a CV as varied as one fictionlised on a book jacket. Indeed, writing was another frustrated passion - but it was with pencils or pens and paints that her creativity found its most enduring expression.
Simply doodling a friend's caricature over coffee, sketching wildlife in the park or at local zoos, or becoming secuced by the angles and architecture of urban landscapes on her travels remained a far cry from being able to make a reasonable living at it however... Until the realisation hit that unless a leap of faith was taken, Justine would always be at the mercy of doing a "proper job"
The rest, as they don't tend to say, is history yet to be written...
